Joan Tiberian, founder of Oneness New Age Center, has been a respiratory therapist and medical assistant for the last 35 years. With Joan’s extensive background in the health care industry, that did not prepare her for the path she was about to take. Joan had a bout with cancer 15 years ago and in that moment Joan was introduced and led to an alternative healing modality called Reiki. Joan developed an interest in energy healing (Reiki) and spirituality.

Joan’s initial conscious experience with the universal energy force came during her first Reiki attunement shortly after; this ultimately led Joan to her calling as a Reiki Master and Interfaith Minister. Outside of her work, Joan finds joy through meditation, exploration, and the company of friends and family. She believes her purpose to be, showing by example, the seeming impossible things that each and every one of us can do through letting go and trusting in the power greater than our individualized perception. Her experience includes providing treatment for private clients and various Reiki circles, which also include clients with HIV/AIDS.
